Vince Zampella, the mind behind the immensely successful first-person shooter Call of Duty, has tragically died in a traffic collision in California at the age of 55.
Zampella's death was announced by Electronic Arts, which owns Respawn Entertainment, the video game company that he helped create.
The renowned video game developer passed away following his car crashed and was engulfed in flames on a freeway in Los Angeles on Sunday morning, according to.
